Concrete Repair & Protection

Polymer-modified cement-based or resin-based mortars are used for concrete repair and rehabilitation. The particular characteristics of such mortars are good workability for horizontal, vertical and overhead applications, applicable by hand or machine, low shrinkage, good bond to the substrate and good long-term durability.

To protect concrete from further deterioration, liquid-applied protection systems are used. These include water-repellent impregnations and coatings which may be clear or coloured for additional decorative effect. Depending on the conditions and requirements, elastic systems which are able to close movement cracks and enhance the durability of the structures are also available.
